Pre-existing malformation in a community goes way beyond having a negative impact on the children of the same; they leave almost permanent irrevocable scars in the light of everyday lives lived inside the communities. Community problems affect every particular person involved especially the most naïve of them- children. Once the greater problem of the community is solved, the impediments to children’s education can be easily resolved.
In the community initiatives programme, we look to address the innate cumulative difficulties of each community by providing thorough alternative means and knowledge about how to eliminate any pre-existing social, sociological and environmental problems. This is achieved through means of community based researches and counselling sessions in collaboration with repeated communication with community heads and local intelligentsia.
The programme gives local groups the power to identify and resolve ingrained problems, and address issues that are crucial to both their standard of life and development. Our extensive research on the Jharia coalfields and the nature of living of people in the locale stands testament to how we have dug in deep of the problems and helped spread considerable awareness to the people and attempted to incite relief measures.
